Stop the name-calling!<\/p>\n

There are pressing state ‘n federal bills and <\/span><\/p>\n

laws to reinforce, revise or repudiate;<\/span><\/p>\n

unjust ones to strike down, <\/p>\n

just ones to uphold, <\/p>\n

new ones to propose.<\/p>\n

There are also constitutional, economical, <\/p>\n

educational, medical, protective, sexual, <\/p>\n

scientific and environmental issues <\/span><\/p>\n

to address with many <\/span>people <\/span><\/p>\n

precariously perched and<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

in<\/span> need of our<\/span> help<\/span><\/p>

and support<\/span><\/p>

trust, and<\/span><\/p>

love.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

If we slide into apathy, if we forfeit empathy, <\/span><\/p>\n

we will never achieve our potential for unity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, we cannot provide just care for all <\/span><\/p>\n

by <\/span>sentiment alone; it is <\/span>insufficient.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action informed by empathy is the <\/p>\n
